Expressions of interest are sought for a science communicator working in
the Australian Office of Nanotechnology with the Department of
Innovation, Industry, Science and Research in Canberra.

The position is 7 to 8 months filling in for a maternity leave vacancy.

Public Affairs Officer PAO 2 or PAO 3 (Salary) $65,700 - $84,500

To work on public awareness and education programs dealing with

The Australian Office of Nanotechnology's Public Awareness Program aims
to increase the public's awareness, knowledge and understanding of
nanotechnologies, including the risks and the benefits, to enable a more
informed public debate on nanotechnology. 


Job requires: 
-	project management, 
-	financial management, 
-	experience in government PR/communications,
-	science communications skills useful,
-	education project experience useful.
