Stem Cell Awareness Day
Robert Blackwood Hall, Monash University Clayton campus, Melbourne,
Thursday 25th September, 2008

Interested in stem cell research? This free all day event is organised 
by Monash Immunology & Stem Cell Laboratories. Patients, researchers, 
ethicists, support groups, and representatives from government and 
business will discuss aspects of stem cell medicine, including:

• Basic concepts in stem cell science
• Ethical and regulatory issues associated with stem cell research
• Recent advances in the use of stem cells to treat specific clinical 
conditions
• Open discussion about issues around the translation of stem cells into 
potential therapies
• Include video link and discussion with California Institute 
Regenerative Medicine
