[ASC-list] ASC Networking Event: SE QLD 19th August

ASC members are invited to meet the Hot Air delegates from around the world at a special post symposium drinks session on Wednesday 19 August at 5.30-7pm at the Brisbane Convention Centre.
The Hot Air symposium: Communicating the science of climate change to government and businesses is being organised and hosted by ASC as part of the 10th International Ecology Congress in Brisbane (www.intecol10.org<http://www.intecol10.org>). More than 100 people have registered for this symposium and we expect about half will stay for drinks at the end.

Robyn Williams from ABC science is a speaker at the symposium and will give a brief informal talk during the drinks session about science journalism and communication in Australia.
