CSIRO's North Queensland Science Education Centre is seeking an energetic and motivated Education Officer to join their team in Townsville.  You will have strong communication and presentation skills and a solid background in science. A teaching qualification and/or experience in science communication would be expected.  You will work as part of a multi-skilled team to deliver hands-on science programs to school students and the general community with the aim of promoting science and developing pathways for young scientists and engineers of the future.  Flexibility to travel to local schools and to regional schools for periods up to a week is required.  The position would suit a vibrant and enthusiastic person who enjoys working with young people. The indefinite position is full time.
