The Centre is seeking applications for the above employment opportunity
which will be advertised in the Australian Public Service Gazette on
Thursday 12 February 2009.  

The primary focus of this position is to ensure the day to day
operations of the Questacon Smart Moves and Tenix Maths Squad Projects
run smoothly by:

*        Staff management and development:

*        Coordinating tour logistics ;

*        Maintaining contemporary content;

*        Managing the website;

*        Assisting with promotions; and 

*        Gathering program data as required 

 

Special Requirements:

*      Possession of a current driver's licence and the ability to drive
a motor vehicle including hire and manual vehicles

*      Ability and willingness to tour regional and remote areas of
Australia for short periods.

 

 

This is a non-ongoing full-time position, available from 28th February
2009 until 30th June 2010, with the possibility of extension up to 3
years, working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility
provided by the Questacon Collective Agreement to work weekends and
public holidays as required.
