Meet a real live science writer: Peter McAllister.
Come along for a beer and a chat with science writer Peter McAllister -
author of recently published, popular science book ³Manthropology - The
science of the inadequate modern male².
During this casual event, find out the processes involved in science writing
along with the pro and cons of freelancing.
Peter (initially an anthropologist) is currently finishing his PhD in
science communication and is in the middle of promoting his new book. He has
also written for publications such as FHM, Who Weekly and Inside Sport.
Manthropology is Peter¹s first popular science book and is also being
adapted for the National Geographic Channel.
In between publicity commitments, TV interviews and the Brisbane Writer¹s
Festival - Peter has kindly offered a couple hours of his time to ASC
members and friends.
