The original vegetation of Port Adelaide posed many challenges to
early settlers, however the river, salt marshes and mangroves of the
Port River have since proved to be beautiful, mysterious and an
important part of South Australia's marine ecology.

Come along to this forum to hear renowned experts provide their
insights into the beauty of the Port's unique natural treasures.

The Panel includes:

Dr Mike Bossley from the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society
(WDCS), who has been studying the Port River Dolphins for over 20 years.

Dr Greg Johnston, a vertebrate ecologist with Flinders University and
Zoos SA, who has been studying the seabird breeding colonies in the Port
River-Barker Inlet estuary since 1990.

Faith Cook, an expert in estuarine vegetation from Delta
Environmental Consulting, who has worked, lived, canoed and
snorkelled in the Port River and Barker Inlet for 16 years.
