 *Synthetic Biology in the Pub*

Controversy! Science! Beer! Don't miss Club Cosmos tonight at our new venue
- Forresters Hotel in Surry Hills, where a panel of scientists – including
Desmond Lun of Rutgers University in New Jersey – will talk about creating
life in the lab, and why everyone is so excited about synthetic biology.
It's a night of stimulating discussion, humour, and scores of prizes to give
away.

   *TONIGHT* - Monday 4 April 2011
   7pm - 9pm
   Forresters Hotel
Level 1 Bar, 336 Riley Street, Surry Hills

Our panel of experts ...

at Rutgers University in New Jersey, USA and former research fellow in
genetics at Harvard Medical School.

* Claudia Vickers*, senior research fellow in the Systems and Synthetic
Biology Group at the University of Queensland.

* Belinda Bennett*, professor of health and medical law at Sydney
University and member of the National Medical Board of Australia.

Hosted by COSMOS editor Wilson da Silva. And there's fabulous geek science
prizes to win!

Best of all, it’s free – but places are limited, so *be sure to book* here
