Production Coordinator, Scope

TVQ - Brisbane



Network TEN's Children's Television Unit (Brisbane) currently has an opportunity available for a Production Coordinator to join its award winning children's science program, Scope.

The Production Coordinator will be responsible for:


 *   The daily administration of Scope;
 *   Research and coordinate approved stories for distribution to the writers;
 *   Source Talent & shoot locations for episode stories
 *   Make regular contact with CSIRO, Science Bodies & Education Centres;
 *   Sourcing story ideas from the internet, magazines and contacts for the approval of the Producer;
 *   Plan, compile and execute the weekly and monthly story set-up schedule to all relevant departments and notify them of any changes;
 *   Liaise with all stakeholders regarding planned and future trips;

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate:

*         Creativity

*         General knowledge of television field production

*         Excellent logistical skills

*         A customer-focused approach to meeting client expectations

*         Attention to detail

*         Excellent communication, research and writing skills

*         The ability to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines

*         Computer literacy skills.

*         An interest or background in science will be an advantage
