Dr Sally Cockburn, GP and health advocate, has been a fixture on Australian TV and radio for over 20 years. Her aim has always been to demystify health science and translate medical jargon.

Under nom-de-radio Dr Feelgood she plunged in the deep end in 1992 with her Sex and Relationships program Pillowtalk. These days she hosts award winning talk back program Talking Health on 3AW where she tackles the broadest range of health topics.

Sally has also tried to encourage the health profession to embrace journalists rather than run the other way. She taught communication skills and a short course in medical journalism at Monash medical School.
