Communication and Project Support Officer
The North Australian Indigenous Land and Sea Management Alliance (NAILSMA), is seeking a talented and committed person to fill the Communication and Project Support Officer role for the Saltwater Country Program in Darwin.

NAILSMA works across North Australia to build capacity by facilitating knowledge generation and implementation across the north's Indigenous estate.  It does so by fostering collaborative arrangements between Indigenous Knowledge and western science experts to benefit Indigenous people (www.nailsma.org.au/<http://www.nailsma.org.au/>).

In this position you will be working with Indigenous communities and rangers, researchers, government agencies and other stakeholders to create and support a network to facilitate exchange of knowledge, experience and ideas across country and cultures. You will be responsible for creating communication products using web, audiovisual and written media that promotes the role and achievements of Indigenous people in managing their lands and seas, including NAILMSA's I-Tracker Project (www.nailsma.org.au/projects/i-tracker.html<http://www.nailsma.org.au/projects/i-tracker.html>) If you have excellent written and oral communication and people networking skills, and a commitment to supporting Indigenous aspirations to manage country, then this could be the job for you.
