Presenter: Kate Mason, global communications and public affairs manager at Google Australia.

Kate looks after all consumer communications. She and her team run an outreach program, giving talks to news organisations, freelancers and university students about using Google for their research and work.

Google is suddenly everywhere, yet we know only a fraction of what it contains. Kate Mason will teaches us invaluable tips and tricks for the trade using Google tools. This session will investigate smarter ways of searching and offer tools that will help with research and understanding data. It will also include a section on how to leverage Google+. Google docs, books, scholar, blogger and news.
