A day of food, facts and fun for the whole family at the Queen Victoria Market

Join us at the Queen Vic Market and explore the relationships between food, science, innovation, technology and the environment. Interactive presentations, hands-on activities for adults and children, shows and demonstrations run throughout the day.
Care for a cricket? Want to munch on a mealworm? We'll have free tastings of these edible insects, along with the science of chocolate, make your own sherbet, molecular gastronomy, Tubby the Robot, the DPI Touch Tank and more.

What: Living Science at the Market
When: Sunday 19th August, 9:30am-3:00pm
Where: Queen Victoria Market, Queen Street, Melbourne
FREE, suitable for all ages.
