Seminars run from 4.00 at the
UWA Centre for Learning Technology.

Drinks and nibbles provided.
No RSVP required.

Our next three exciting Seminars are:

24 August: Jenny Donovan, UWA Graduate
School of Education. The modern
storyteller: What do children learn from
their favourite family member – the
television? Jenny’s research into how TV
crime dramas shape children’s
understanding of genetics will interest
both education and communication
researchers – as well as parents and
fans of CSI!

31 August: Pete Wheeler, International
Centre for Radio Astronomy Research.
ICRAR outreach and the SkyNet Citizen
Science initiative. With WA to share the
Square Kilometre Array, ICRAR outreach
has a lot to talk about.

7 September: Assoc. Professor Nancy
Longnecker, UWA Program in Science
Communication. Why do people study
science? Results from an international
survey with 1,800 responses.

Join us if you're in Perth!
