*Job as NCCARF Knowledge Communicator-Gold Coast*
If you have the skills to communicate knowledge to a range of decision
makers, we have a one year opportunity to make an impact on Australia's
capacity to adapt to climate change. The National Climate Adaptation
Research Facility (NCCARF) is looking for a person with experience
developing, delivering and disseminating specialised knowledge
NCCARF manages two research programs: the Australian Research Grants
Program (ARGP) and the Synthesis and Integrative Research program (SIR),
with a combined value of almost $39 million. Both programs are designed to
build the knowledge needed by decision makers in government, in vulnerable
sectors and the community to adapt to climate change.
You will be part of a small team, based at the Griffith University campus
on the Gold Coast. Your role will include designing and publishing fact
sheets, final reports, and a quarterly Newsletter, as well as organising
seminars and liaising with stakeholders.
The position requires a high level of written, oral and visual
communication and the ability to adapt content to suit the relevant medium
and audience. This is a fixed term (12 months), full time position.
