The National Climate Change Ada[ptation Research Facility (NCCARF) is
looking for a half time digital media officer to coordinate content and
continue to update and improve the NCCARF website.
The NCCARF website is a key communication tool, and this position will play
a proactive lead role in ensuring that the site fully communicates and
promotes the activities of NCCARF and is a first port-of-call for
information on climate change adaptation activities and research around
Australia and overseas. In addition, the successful candidate will be
expected to provide advice on and provide input into the development of
various information databases and digital media products.
The National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility (NCCARF) was
established in late 2007 with funding from Commonwealth Department of
Climate Change. NCCARF's role is to lead a national interdisciplinary
research effort to produce the knowledge that will help government,
industry and community decision makers manage the impacts of climate change
and climate variability. NCCARF is hosted by Griffith University, in
partnership with the Queensland Government and 8 universities across
