CSIRO is seeking a Communication Advisor to work with the Food, Health and
Life Science Industries (FHLSI) Group communication team to provide support
to a range of activities across the Group. In particular the advisor would
support CSIRO's research across the food value-chain ranging from on-farm
to food manufacturing, improved health outcomes and other industry and
consumer benefits.



*You will be responsible for:*

·         supporting the delivery of effective communication and
dissemination of information

·         contributing to the development of communication materials for
CSIRO’s FHLSI Group through the investigation and gathering of data

·         providing support for the Group Communication Manager and the
Group’s Flagship and Divisional Communication Managers

·         In addition, this role will collate the results of communication
efforts, such as media monitoring and maintain web content in the Content
Management System

*Location:* North Ryde, NSW

*Salary:* $57K to $73K (plus up to 15.4% Superannuation)

*Tenure:* 12 months (full time)

*To be successful, you will need:*

·         Relevant tertiary qualifications in communication, public
relations or media, or relevant experience in a role in areas such as media
relations, public relations, government affairs or communications.

·         Sound written and oral communication skills.

·         Experience in the investigation and gathering of data for
communication plans and materials.

·         Experience in the collation, recording and dissemination of
materials such as media releases, speeches, articles, publications,
advertisements and other communications.
