The City of Adelaide is the oldest clipper ship in the world. This event will focus on the history and significance of the ‘City of Adelaide’ and will include a high level overview as to how the clipper will be brought to Adelaide from Scotland – a feat that will rival anything seen on Monster Move and an important moment in SA Maritime History. The presenter is director and naval architect Peter Roberts.
Members, families, interested public, historians, educators, other professions all welcome at the first big ASC SA activity for the year.
Attendees collect a free City-of-Adelaide-in-Bottle pattern.
