Using Mind Maps to Assess Student Environmental Knowledge
As part of her PhD research, Zarin developed and validated a mind map assessment tool that quantifies individual student mind map responses to provide a summary of the depth, volume and breadth of students' knowledge of sustainability and pro-environmental behaviours. Zarin will present the assessment tool, the results of mind maps conducted with students at three Perth primary schools, and will discuss her plans to do further validation of the tool with two Californian primary schools later this month.
