The pleasure and diversity of wine workshops

Have you ever wanted to unravel the mystery of wine appreciation and wondered what those medals actually mean on the bottle? Or perhaps you would like to have the opportunity of tasting some international wines and compare them to Australian wines? Unleash your inner wine geek by learning the chemistry of wine and the art of wine tasting with local winemaker Carla Rodeghiero.
 
Location: Boardroom (located downstairs) at the CSIRO Discovery Centre, Clunies Ross St, Acton ACT 2601 

Cost: $60 for four weeks (you must be aged 18 years and over). You will get the chance to try up to 40 different types of wine!
 
Class sizes: Maximum of 19 participants per session.
 
Four 2 h sessions were you can taste various wines.
6–8 pm, 16 October 2012
6–8 pm, 23 October 2012
6–8 pm, 30 October 2012
6–8 pm, 6 November 2012
 
There will be an optional visit to Helm Wines of Murrumbateman on Sunday, 11 November.
