A bigger black hole than Joe Hockey will ever see is about to appear in Canberra.

In a free public talk Professor Joss Bland-Hawthorn (University of Sydney) will speak about the supermassive black hole at the centre of our Galaxy — and why it's an extremely good idea to be living now rather than two million years ago.

Time: 6:30 − 7:30 pm, Thursday 5 December
Place: CSIRO Discovery Centre, Black Mountain, Canberra

The talk is free but you can (and should) book specific seats: http://www.trybooking.com/Booking/BookingEventSummary.aspx?eid=69128
