Dear Friends,

After an exciting year and over 600,000 people attending events throughout Dublin City of Science 2012 and ESOF 2012, we have now evolved into a new festival that will take place annually in Dublin, called The<http://festivalofcuriosity.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=01efc936bc1a427ed87c61f4c&id=8eab50ce82&e=1a60d1f340> Festival of Curiosity<http://festivalofcuriosity.us2.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=01efc936bc1a427ed87c61f4c&id=962b0b2543&e=1a60d1f340>.

Taking place from July 25-28 2013, in Dublin City Centre, The Festival of Curiosity will deliver a ten-year strategy with a mission to create a culture of curiosity in Ireland, and a vision of a world where every person has the confidence, the courage and the opportunity to be curious.

By day, experience a hands on adventure in science, play & curious technology for all the family with many free events  including the Curiosity Carnival in Smock Alley Theatre (Dublin's first interactive science playground), and the Science in the City Treasure hunt where you will explore science in the city on a fun trail of riddles, puzzles and science for all the family.

Spilling out from the Curiosity Carnival in Smock Alley Theatre will be interactive science exhibitions, exploding science shows,  futurelabs, a LEGO Education station where you can create, play and build Curious Creations, children's science/art and creative writing workshops and an 'Afternoon Under the Stars' with Professor Jocelyn Bell Burnell.

By night, experience a curious series of evening science events - including film, theatre, lectures, debates and discussions including CURIOUS STORIES with Dara Ó Briain where you will hear tales of science serendipity & accidental ideas that changed the world, and CURIOUS FUTURES with RTÉ's Rick O Shea where the audience will challenge leading experts in science as the pitch their visions for the future.
