FYI, if you are in southern Sydney, then you, your colleagues, students or
kids etc. might be interested in the astronomy Open Night being put on by
the local amateur astronomers.

Adults $10, Children $5, Family $20, Concession $5,
no booking required.

N.B. There will be no lectures in the scout hall as this has been booked by
a different group.

The entrance is in Green Point Reserve (next to the Childcare Centre), Green
Point Road, then down the path.

Park near the corner of Green Point and Caravan Head Roads, Caravan
Head/Green Point (between Oyster Bay and Como on the George's River) and
follow the crowd/signs.

The Society has been in existence since the 1960s, and has received various
government grants in recognition of its public education etc..

If you would like to visit at a less crowded time then give me a yell
sometime.

If you are interested in how the local commercial newspaper covered this
announcement, see

The paper has a audited circulation of ~ 146,000 and a readership of ~
