Massive Online Open Courses (MOOCs) are the new kids on the block in higher
education. Universities are opening their virtual classrooms to students
and knowledge enthusiasts across the globe with these rapidly multiplying,
interactive subjects.

Join the Victorian branch of Australian Science Communicators for a panel
discussion that will delve into the inner workings of MOOCs and the open
education movement.

   - How are MOOCs different to traditional courses?
   - How are MOOCs changing science education?
   - How can scientists and science communicators reach new audiences
   using MOOCs?
   - How can anyone deal with 10,000 students at a time?
