Personalised Medicine - the Hype and the Hope
Join leading University of Melbourne cancer researcher, Professor Melissa Southey<http://www.path.unimelb.edu.au/research/labs/southey/> and a team of key medical researchers, for a lively dinner conversation about the emerging field of computational biology and how it is 'personalising' cancer medicine. Life scientists and computer scientists are forming exciting collaborations to refine risk assessments, diagnostics and drug options as they gain a more detailed understanding of this major disease which will touch us all. This event offers you a unique opportunity to speak to some experts in the field and sort out the hype from the hope, ably MC'd by Keith Greaves, expert community engagement facilitator.
