[ASC-list] Nominations open: Unsung Hero of Australian Science Communication Award 2013

The Australian Science Communicators is proud to announce that the Unsung
Hero of Australian Science Communication Award is now open for nominations.

The Unsung Hero is an initiative of the Australian Science Communicators.

The ASC offers this award to honour a person (or group) who exemplifies
science communication. The award recognises those whose contribution, in
the opinion of the Awards Committee, has been so significant over a period
of time that they should by now have been recognised.

Find out more on how to nominate for the 2013 Unsung Hero of Australian
Science Communication Award:

Nominations close at 5pm on Friday 13 December 2013.

The winner of the 2013 award will be announced during the Australian
Science Communicators National Conference 2–5 February 2014 in Brisbane.
This national event, as well as being the premier networking, professional
development and interactive event for science communicators, marks the 20th
anniversary of the ASC.
