Dates of Brisbane Open house this year are 12/13 October and for the first time there is a dedicated science building programming stream.

Brisbane Open House Ballot
The Brisbane Open House ballot offers exclusive tours to a limited number of people. The ballot opens today and will close on Friday 27 September 2013. Winners will be randomly selected. Winners will be notified by email the week commencing Monday 30 September.
The Translational Research Institute is freely available to visit on 12 and 13 October and NO bookings are needed to gain general access to the building and attend an information session. Bookings are only required for a limited number of Laboratory Experiences (guided tours of laboratories in the building).

The following five buildings will take phone or online bookings directly. These tour bookings will be available on a first come, first served basis.

The Australian Institute of Architects, Brisbane City Hall, the Queensland Museum and Sciencentre, and the UQ - The James and Mary Emelia Mayne Centre - Art Museum are also offering self-guided tour options which DO NOT REQUIRE BOOKINGS.
