Creative Commons is a worldwide project that encourages copyright owners to allow others to share, reuse and remix their material, legally. CC offers a range of free licences that creators can use to manage their copyright in the online environment, each providing its own specific protections and freedoms. Anne will explain how CC works, how to apply it to your own creative works, where to find free CC content and how to properly attribute it.

Anne is an intellectual property and e-commerce lawyer and a Professor in Law Research at QUT. She has an extensive background in the areas of intellectual property law, internet and e-commerce law and international trade law and is a core member of the Creative Commons staff.
