For those interested in hearing directly from the IPCC (for a change!), this event on tomorrow looks really interesting. The famous Swedish statistician, Hans Rosling, will provide an overview before the ipcc report authors speak.

Hi Susannah,

Hope you're well. I apologize in advance if someone has already emailed you about this - IGBP is organizing a special public event this Saturday - the first public dialogue IPCC will have after the launch of WG1's AR5. We are trying to promote the livestream to a global audience and would appreciate any help you can give us in Australia. TED speaker Hans Rosling will give the opening talk on global change, followed by discussion and Q & A on the report with the IPCC co-chairs. They are taking questions via #climateSTHLM this week.

I've attached the advisory. I haven't quite figured out what time it will be in Oz, sometime in the evening perhaps? GMT times are on the advisory.
