The Australian Community Climate Action Summit has been held annually, since 2010. The Summit is organised by the Community Climate Network (CCN), a network of climate action groups and individuals across Australia that shares a common vision and purpose. The objectives of this Summit are to:

1. Share the latest on
 Scientific analysis
Civil society and sectoral responses to the climate emergency (health, education, engineering, etc.)
The big national and international campaign successes and future plans.

2. Discover and embark on new pathways to more effective climate action in established and non-traditional ways…and make local and regional plans.

3. Skill up! Learn to bypass government and corporate obstacles, and help ramp up climate action
Divesting from fossil fuel investment
Community funded renewables
Many others!

4. Repair our despair:
Discover the healing power and joy of facing up to “the greatest moral challenge of our lifetimes” and doing something good about it
Connect with like-minded people, (re)discover your inner strength
Catch the buzz, swell the momentum for positive change, and have fun!

5. Transform difficult conversations about climate into inclusive engagement across political and philosophical divides.
