Hello all,

Interesting report in The Age this morning on efforts to increase vaccination rates in Victoria: http://www.theage.com.au/victoria/state-rejects-noimmunisation-nochildcare-plan-20140211-32g2o.html

This sentence in particular raised an eyebrow: "Mr Davis [Vic Health Minister] said there was always a small group of parents who objected to immunisation but many could change their minds if given more information."

While there's a place for simple information provision, I don't imagine this approach will work particularly well with die-hard anti-vax parents. Pity the minister wasn't at last week's conference...

Cheers,
Adam
