Hi Tamzin,

Yes I agree with Kirsten. 'Researchers' are people investigating something
using a scientific process, with the results written up as a report or
ultimately a research paper or thesis. Also I find that there are some
people who do research and write reports but don't consider themselves a
scientist as they don't conduct empirical research or publish peer-review
papers.
