The Young Scientists of Australia, Melbourne
The Young Scientists of Australia (YSA) Melbourne are a group of young people aged 14-26, with diverse skills and interests, who share a common love and appreciation for science. We are made up of scientists, engineers, musicians, artists, and everything in between; we intersect in our desire to have a positive impact on Victorian youth via the advocacy of science. We are involved in Science Communication, staffing of Science Schools, public science events, and general science support for high school and university students. We also conduct monthly socials, such as Ice Skating, Amazing Race, or our annual Murder Mystery, as well as produce science content through our weekly podcast show and weekly science blog.
