*The Opportunity*

An opportunity has arisen for a Communications Adviser within the Eliminate
Dengue research program within the Faculty of Science.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for delivering a broad
range of internal and external communications, and creating targeted
communications materials for the Eliminate Dengue Program's global
communications and engagement team.

As well as supporting the development and implementation of a range of
global templates and guides for project sites, you will write both external
and internal news and social media content. You will develop, edit and
proof corporate writing materials whilst working in close cooperation and
coordination with staff at project sites around the world. You will promote
and enhance the program's reputation and brand among key local and
international stakeholders.

As the successful candidate you will, in conjunction with the
Communications and Engagement Manager, develop and implement the program's
strategic communication and engagement strategy for internal and external
stakeholders. This will include developing, reviewing and proactively
managing internal and external communications activities, across both
digital and print mediums, including website, brochures/flyers, speeches,
announcements, media releases, newsletters and promotional material.

To be successful you will have a degree/tertiary qualification in the area
of journalism, communications, public relations, media studies or a related
field and significant experience in a communications related role, ideally
with some exposure to international projects.
