Subject: Request from RMIT University
To: office at asc.asn.au

Hi there,

I'm a lecturer in the school of Media and Communication at RMIT University
in Melbourne, and am currently running a subject called "It's Not Rocket
Surgery". My students are producing a series of 3-minute videos explaining
complex scientific processes or concepts. None of them are scientists, but
they are great up-and-coming media producers, so I've had them consulting
with scientists in relevant fields on their videos.

It's all very exciting, but I have hit a snag and am putting a call-out for
assistance.

This coming Monday afternoon, the students are to present their rough cuts
to a panel for feedback. We need to give the students a chance to engage
with industry professionals, so I require someone to come in and offer some
criticism of their work. Unfortunately, my original guest has cancelled -
hence my email to ASC. I'm hoping someone on your Victorian team might be
interested and available.

It would involve dropping in to RMIT in the Melbourne CBD for an hour, 4.30
- 5.30 this Monday afternoon. The University can also offer the guest a
$100 book voucher as a way of saying thanks.

Very much hoping to hear from you soon,

Kind regards,
Liam
