Wondering who our Wholesome guests are this week?
Wonder no longer, cos here they are. Hot damn this is going to be an interesting show<http://wholesomeshow.com/live/2016/5/17/august-10-1>!
Nice warm hugs,
PS - our next show is called What's the worst that could happen? <http://wholesomeshow.com/live/2016/5/17/august-10-1>
PPS - believe it or not, talking about worst can scenarios isn't always scary. Especially at 7:30 this Wednesday, August 10<http://wholesomeshow.com/live/2016/5/17/august-10-1> at the Wig&Pen
DR STEPHANIE WILLIAMS
Stephanie is a Lecturer at the National Security College, where she teaches the Disease, Security and Biological Weapons<http://programsandcourses.anu.edu.au/2015/course/NSPO8013> course. She’s also played a lot in the public heath space, but there’s only so much she’s allowed to tell us about that (ssshhh)
DR SOPHIE LEWIS
You can’t talk about worst case scenarios without ripping into climate stuff. But that doesn't have to mean angry old dudes shouting about it. Instead we’re chatting with Sophie, who is an eminently qualified climate scientist interested in understanding climate change and variability, in the past, present and future. She is absolutely not and angry, old dude.
PROF ANDREW HOPKINS
Andrew is internationally famous for his work with understanding and unpacking disasters. His very readable books relevant to process safety including Disastrous Decisions<http://www.processsafety.com.au/books/disastrous-decisions/>, Failure to Learn<http://www.processsafety.com.au/books/failure-to-learn/>, Lessons from Longford<http://www.processsafety.com.au/books/lessons-from-longford/>, Lessons from Gretley<http://www.processsafety.com.au/books/lessons-from-gretley/>, and Safety, Culture and Risk<http://www.processsafety.com.au/books/safety-culture-and-risk/>. If there’s anything you want to learn about the human stuff behind disasters, you should probably learn it from Andrew.
