Dear ASC-List,

Tomorrow's member guest has studied engineering, theoretical physics,
science communication, digital arts and new media and has been science
writing and editing for more than 20 years. David is currently the
Associate Editor for Front Matter, Proceedings of the National Academy of
Sciences after a string of executive communication roles and has written
for magazines including Scientific American, Nature, Popular Science, New
Scientist, Make, Wired, Australasian Science, Newton, and the Helix, and
newspapers including The Weekend Australian, the Canberra Times, and the
Courier Mail. He has exhibited his science-inspired art at places including
the California Academy of Sciences, Maker Faire, and Santa Cruz Museum of
Art and History. Recently returning to Australia after some 15 years
overseas, David is currently seeking volunteers to help organise the first
Australian Science Hack Day in Brisbane in 2017. Read the post to find out
