Ever wanted to try podcasting but didn't know how? Keen to explore new ways
of communicating? Want to introduce sound to your storytelling?

The Australian Science Communicators NSW branch is hosting an interactive
podcasting workshop led by Ian Woolf, independent producer of the weekly
radio show and podcast Diffusion Science Radio.

In this one-hour session, you will learn the basics of editing interviews
into crisp and smooth soundbytes, ready to post online. If you've ever
wanted to become a podcaster but didn't know how - this is where you want
to be.

Then stick around for the ASC NSW Christmas party afterwards, find some new
podcasting buddies, come up with a simply GENIUS idea for a podcast, forget
to write it down and then not be able to remember it the next day.

*When*: Wednesday 14 December, 6.30pm

*Where*: WeWork, 100 Harris St, Pyrmont, Sydney

*Cost*: $20 for ASC members, $25 for non-members

*Why*: 'Cos it gives you an excuse to ask Santa for all sorts of whizzbang
podcasting gear and claim it as a tax deduction.

*Tickets*: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/learn-to-podcast

Any questions, email Smriti Mallapaty (smriti.mallapaty at gmail.com)

Hope to see you there!

The ASC NSW team.
