AMSI is currently recruiting for a three month, part-time Publications Officer to work within our marketing and communications team.

Part-time, casual, 3 months, immediate start, Level HEW5.
Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI), based at The University of Melbourne, Parkville, Victoria.
Excellent report and copywriting skills;
High-level communication skills with the proven ability to translate technical content for broader audiences;
High-level proof reading skills and attention to detail;
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and organise key information;
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage a range of external stakeholders;
Demonstrated organisational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet hard deadlines;
Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
Experience with the tertiary education sector and research sectors and/or the not for profit sector;
Experience dealing with academic researchers at all levels;
Science/Mathematics degree or experience working in science communication, preferable but not essential.
