Centre for Clinical Genomics at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research.

Education Project Officer (Specialist & Professional)

This opportunity is for an education professional who will responsible for
supporting the KCCG clinical team to provide vital and innovative
specialist education and training in clinical genomics for medical and
genetic specialists, and other health professionals as appropriate.

Key responsibilities of this position will be:

Develop, package and deliver genomics-related content for medical
specialist and professional education
Consulting with stakeholders and members of key audiences to plan, deliver
and evaluate genomics education activities and programs
Contribute to efforts that map gaps and opportunities in genomics education
for health professionals in Australia
Develop and manage effective relationships with key stakeholders in
genetics and genomics education, both externally and internally

Communications Project Officer (Genomics)

This opportunity is for a Communications specialist to join the Kinghorn
Centre for Clinical Genomics (KCCG) to implement specific strategies for
the delivery of the KCCG’s media and communications activities; and
contribute to the Garvan Institute’s overall communication of genomics

Key responsibilities of this position will be focused on enhancing the
public profile of genomic research and applications by:
Writing and distributing media releases and industry information
Assisting in preparation of staff for media exposure
Coordinating interviews, filming and photography as required
Developing genomics-related content for KCCG team members, for
presentations, publications and online usage
