Position title - Digital Production Coordinator

About the opportunity - based in Canberra

We are looking for an energetic professional to join our talented editorial team responsible for producing a reputable online medical journal. Australian Prescriber produces six publications each year and the Digital Production Coordinator supports the production cycle by ensuring that all electronic publications are produced to a high quality and in line with the annual schedule.

Reporting to the Production Manager you will assist with the collation of copy, and preparation of content for online publication and uploading to external databases. You will provide advice on designing ways to enhance readers' online experiences, and you will be the central point of coordination for our social media following.

About you

*         Good command of English language, grammar and punctuation

*         Good attention to detail

*         Good communication skills and ability to work as a member of a team

*         Demonstrated planning and organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines

*         Experience in social media, including Twitter and Facebook

*         Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc.)

*         Excellent HTML/XML skills

*         Good command of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)

*         Previous experience supporting a digital publishing cycle
