[ASC-list] Youth ANZAAS residential science outreach program for Years 10-12 in July - Applications Now Open!

Youth ANZAAS is an annual residential international forum for Australian and New Zealand high school students in Years 10 to 12. Every year, students from each Australian State and Territory, and New Zealand, are selected to participate in a 5-day programme filled with science activities and experiences. Behind-the-scenes tours, lectures with leading scientists, hands-on research, cutting edge technology – all this and more awaits you at Youth ANZAAS 2018!

When and where will it be held?
Youth ANZAAS 2018 will be held in MELBOURNE VICTORIA from Sunday 8th July through to Friday 13th July. Attendees will stay at Ormond College at the University of Melbourne Parkville Campus located close to the Melbourne CBD and to many significant scientific research establishments.

How much will it cost?
We pay to get you there! ANZAAS will pay the travel costs of successful applicants from Australian capital cities to Melbourne (The Royal Society of New Zealand will cover successful NZ applicants). Participants pay only the conference registration fee of $600 which covers all, accommodation, meals, forum sessions, travel and tours.

Who organises Youth ANZAAS?
Youth ANZAAS is organised by the Australian and New Zealand Association for the Advancement of Science (ANZAAS) and the Royal Society of New Zealand. The program receives financial support from the Federal Department of Education and Science.
