Are you involved in the communication of weather, climate and ocean sciences?
Do you want to connect wth other communicators (and researchers) working in these fields?
Does Fremantle in February sound good to you?

If you answered ‘yes’ to these questions, read on!

In the call for abstracts <http://amos-2020.w.amos.currinda.com/call-for-abstracts#call-for-abstracts> for its 2020 conference (10-14 Feb, Fremantle WA), the Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society (AMOS) is seeking submissions for a number of communication-focussed sessions.

Abstracts are invited on communicating with a range of stakeholders, including government, primary producers and other science-product end users, as well as outreach, extension and education.

The detailed session list <https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FSWcGrF1aNYEu_62Ww3crhESnWNxaXBa/view> provides more information on the comms sessions (starting on p 43). The deadline for abstract submission is 22 Sept.

(Note: The ‘Communicating AMOS sciences’ session is also happy to accept communication abstracts that are more general in nature - i.e. not specifically weather, climate and ocean science communication - that highlight approaches, learnings and activities that can be used by the AMOS community to enhance communication of their sciences.)

For more information about abstract submission <http://amos-2020.w.amos.currinda.com/call-for-abstracts#call-for-abstracts> and the conference, visit the conference website <http://amos-2020.w.amos.currinda.com/#>. AMOS is also on Twitter and Facebook (@AMOSupdates).
