We are currently seeking a dynamic Video Producer based in Adelaide to take a hands on approach to deliver high quality content from concept all the way through to final presentation.

As part of the editorial team you will work with scientists, sponsors, representatives of the media and the public to produce and deliver a vibrant and varied range of activities that promote awareness and understanding of science.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  *   Content production to include but not limited to scripting, coordinating shoots, filming, editing and post production.
  *   Managing a workload of projects in the delivery of an organisational production schedule.
  *   Ensuring all organisational production standards are achieved in the delivery of all content outputs.
  *   Contributing to the development and research associated with the delivery of non-sponsored RiAus content.
  *   Supporting the Team as required in the creation and production of sponsored content.
  *   Any other duties as required in the achievement of the objectives of the organisation.

The ideal candidate will be:

  *   Educated to degree level (preferably in science or communications).
  *   Experienced in communicating and translating scientific concepts effectively to non-specialist audiences through a variety of written and multimedia mediums
  *   Able to write, produce, direct and edit video content
  *   Interested in science and the scientific process.
  *   Familiar with science research, communication and policy arenas.
  *   A creative thinker able to create exciting, innovative and interesting content.
  *   Experienced with graphic design and/or animation to compliment video content and for social media.

Applicants must be current Australian residents with appropriate visas to undertake this role.
