GALACTIC WOMENS DAY IN THE PUB*

International Women’s Day, March 8, was only the beginning. Now March 26
has been proclaimed Galactic Women’s Day! *  What a great night to have
Science in the Pub!



Come down to Smiths Alternative to hear women from across the galaxy
talking about their research. There are cartoonists, stand up comics and
professors, chatting about everything from the shape of the Milky Way to
new cancer detection methods to marsupial chromosomes.



It’s a relaxed atmosphere, grab a beverage and a snack and settle in for a
night of remarkable science. Kids are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
