Join us for a beer at Griffith with the hottest young scientists from Queensland, as they go head to head in Fresh Science<http://freshscience.org.au/> this month!

Last competition’s highlights included: weed-control robots, worms to conquer cancer, quantum gravity’s tangled time order, spider venom–pain relief and more. So, what’s #FreshSci<https://twitter.com/hashtag/freshsci?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Ehashtag> this year?

Join us for QLD Fresh Science at Griffith University’s Nathan campus on Wednesday 20 October.

Fresh Science is our national competition that helps early-career researchers find and then share their stories of discovery. The selected scientists get a day of media training and an industry pitching training session, and the chance to share their work with the media, general public and school students. Now in its 23rd year, Fresh Science has trained over 500 scientists to share their science, and generated hundreds of news stories via TV, print, radio and online. You can read past Fresh Scientists’ stories online.

Fresh Science Queensland is delivered by Science in Public<https://www.scienceinpublic.com.au/> in partnership with Econnect Communication<https://www.econnect.com.au/>, and proudly sponsored nationally by Defence Science, and in Queensland by:
