⭐ What is it? ⭐

Watch twelve early career researchers — Australia’s top up-and-coming science communicators — as they battle it out to be crowned the FameLab Australia 2024 winner!

FameLab is the world’s leading science communication competition, created by Cheltenham Festivals (UK). Since 2007, the competition has gone global in over 40 countries, with more than 40,000 scientists participating to date.

⭐ How does it work? ⭐

No slides. No PowerPoint. No boring. To excel in FameLab, competitors need to communicate their research in simple, everyday language that everyone can understand, and do it in just 3 minutes. They're judged on the 3 Cs of FameLab: content, clarity, and charisma.

You’re in for a seriously entertaining night of great science communication, while learning about the latest, cutting-edge science research from around the country.
